A1 – OKU car LICENSE

Criteria for a Disabled Driving license:

• Possess an OKU card
• A JPJ medical examination form filled by a Medical Officer to confirm the applicant can apply for a driving license and operate a vehicle that is modified according to physical capabilities
• Confirmation from the Automotive Engineering Department ( PUSPAKOM ) in JPJ for the modification of the OKU vehicle
• For those who already possess Class A or A1 driving license and would like to add more classes, the applicant must register at JPJ.
• Qualifying Age for this license is 17 years old and above.

Required Documents:

• Original and Copy of the National Identification card ( NRIC )
• Original and Copy of the OKU Card
• Vehicle Registration Card modified according to the original applicant suitability
• A letter of consent from the owner of the vehicle (if applicable)
• The Health Screening Form for Disabled (OKU) can be downloaded from Ministry of Health (MOH)

DRESS CODE 

For Male Candidates:-

• Collared Shirt / Collared T Shirt
• Long Pants
• Shoe (Sandals and Slippers are not allowed)
• Hat / Cap is prohibited

For Female Candidates:-

• No Revealing Attire
• Shirt / blouse must be sleeved and not too short
• Appropriate Shoe (Sandals and Slippers are not allowed)
• Skirt must be below knee level or long pants
• Hat / Cap is prohibited
