The Road Transport Department of Malaysia (JPJ), part of the Department for the Transport, is the agency that examines licences and controls the standards of all driving trainer in the Malaysia. Our SDC Driving Trainer is registered with the SDC and is approved by them to display the Sijil Pengajar Institut Memandu (SPIM) badge on his/her car in addition they are specially trained in the correct way to deliver the SDC and JPJ Training Formula to ensure that you learn more in each lesson.

Our Driving trainer gives your training in his/her car, which is properly insured for this purpose and for use in driving tests. The car is fitted with dual controls, is correctly maintained, and clean and tidy at all times.

• During registration / training / test, you are required to bring along your original Malaysian identity card (Mykad) if you are Malaysian or permanent resident of Malaysia and Passport if you are Non-Malaysian.
• Foreigners must in posses of valid Visa from Malaysian Immigration Department with minimum 6 months validity( social pass is doesn’t qualify as valid documents to enrol in SDC)
• Your photo with white background : 2 pieces (non-Returnable)
• Existing Driving license or Vocational driving license (if poses)
• During Practical training / test, you are also required to bring along your original L License.

• SDC reserves the right to add, change, alter or dismiss at any time without prior notice any steps established in order to obtain a Driving License, this changes might respond to internal policy changes or JPJ mandatory changes in the process of obtaining a Driving License. The Course fees shown on SDC Website are inclusive of GST/SST where applicable and must be paid upfront in order to take on a license driving course. These fees might change at SDC convenience without prior notice and do not represent a formal quotation for future date.
• A candidate allowed making his/her payment progressively. The management will keep the candidate informed on the mode of payment and has the rights to vary the fee / payment as and when necessary. The payment may vary at anytime due to statutory requirement such as sales and service tax.
• A minimum payment of the fees upon enrolment are required. The miniumum payment amount varies as per package so our customer service personnel will advise upon enrolment. Candidates must obtain official receipts for all payments.
• Payments should be made direct to your  SDC office(s) by cash or cheque or credit card or online payment . (Please ensure you obtain and retain your receipt for your own records). Our Office(S) and Branch(s) location will be stated in our official website: www.sdc.com.my
• SDC not responsible if payment is paid via unauthorised payment mode.

• SDC has the right to discontinue the course for any candidate for any misbehaviours or misconduct and at this point SDC has the rights to not refund any fees paid.
• Packaged registered in SDC is non Transferable.

SDC may require paying additional cost if incurred such as retest, extra hours, License processing fee. The payment amount and terms may vary as per package you signed up.

• SDC  has various types of packages and offers as below:
• The JPJ Basic packages
• SDC Affordable Packages
• SDC Premium packages.
• Kindly obtain detail of packages at our websites or our customer service personnel before select your preferable package.

• Candidate are not allowed to smoke, drink or eat during lessons.
• Candidate are advised to be punctual for classes, lessons as the management is obliged to teach only at times specified.

• During your session of course, practical training and test candidate is required to be in dress code as below:
• A  male candidate is only allowed to wear :
• Short / long sleeve and collared Shirt
• National Dresses
• Long pants
• Fully covered shoes.
• A  female candidate is only allowed to wear :
• Long pants & Collared T-Shirts
• National Dresses
• Fully covered shoes.

The management has the rights to not admit candidates who are inappropriately dressed.

By registering an account at SDC you acknowledge the risk involved inside and outside the Academy premises. Shall you perceive a hazard during a class, test or any other moment attending a class, the customer must inform the relevant instructor/employee at the nearest opportunity. The customer must count with its own personal accident insurance policy or relevant medical assistance. The customer acknowledges no liability will be assumed by SDC, employees, instructors or associates for injuries caused during the driving lessons inside or outside our facilities. The customer acknowledges there is a risk associated to the usage of motor vehicles, be a car, motorbike or lorry, for which SDC cannot held responsibility. The customer shall refrain from registering or applying for a License Driving Course if a health condition is present which prevent him/her from undertaking the complete Driving Course. SDC nor its employees, instructors or associates will be held responsible for any misinformation or lack of it by the customer at the time of registering that result in the customers injury or death. Nor disclosing a health condition will mean any type of liability or coverage will be assumed by SDC. Is the sole responsibility of the customer to take care of its own health and physical integrity, during a Driving lesson inside or outside SDC premises.

As stated at the beginning of these terms and Conditions SDC will attempt to keep safe the customer’s information at all times. This information however can be accessed by SDC sibling companies SDC Holdings Sdn. Bhd. , Sentral Driving Centre Sdn. Bhd.  and Malaysian Defensive Driving and Riding centre Sdn. Bhd  for the purposes of verification, avoiding duplicates and/or internal Marketing by any of the Academies.

Pick up services is only available candidates sign up for selected packages only. SDC has the rights to charge if candidates requires pick up services beyond its pick points offered any price determined by the company. Pick up and send off for candidates are only for hands-on driving sessions (practical training). No pick up or send off services for candidates attending theory courses. ie: Theory test or Practical test. No pick up or send off services for motorbike hands-on (practical training) riding. Pick up and send off only are at selected pick up points(subject to change and customer may refer at our website for  pick up locations). The customer acknowledges no liability will be assumed by SDC, employees, instructors or associates for injuries caused before, during and after the pickup sessions.  Candidate is required to wait at the pickup points at least 45 minutes before schedules time of training.Training classes will be cancelled automatically for late nor absence candidates and a late fee of Rm40 will be charged for the 1 hour. SDC is not responsible for delay on pick up services owing to unusual traffic jam, rain or accidents. SDC has the right to cancel pick up services owing to unavoidable circumstances.

• Cancellations of appointment for courses, practical training or any relevant appointments:
• Received up to 1 business days prior to class will not be charged the training fee. Cancellations within 7 Days business days prior to appointments, and no-shows, are subject to payment for the full amount of the cost of course and practical training with future replacement  and penalty fee(s)

• Cancellations of appointment for Test.

• Received up to 7 business days prior to class will not be charged the training fee. Cancellations within 24hours business days prior to appointments, and no-shows, are subject to payment for the full amount of the cost of courses with future replacement and penalty fee(s)

SDC reserves the right to cancel or change a class at any time, including but not limited to, lack of participation, classroom, and equipment or trainer availability. Notification will be provided within 2 hours of the training or test, whenever possible. Candidates will be given replacement of the appointment within next available schedule and candidates will not be charged for the replacement. SDC is not liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to a cancellation of a scheduled class, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations. The customer or candidate's sole remedy shall be the refund of prepaid course fees.

All summonses must be settled before registering. It is the candidates responsibility to check on this.

All complaints will be handled by our management team in a timely manner

PDA reserve the right to amend, update or replace these Terms and Conditions, whenever sees fit or the circumstances of the service justify it.

All intellectual property of SDC’s website  such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the Website remain the property of SDC’s website  By using the Website you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of SDC’s website and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the Website.

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.

We aim to provide continuous high quality service. If you experience any problems with your service you should, in the first instance, refer to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section of the website. If you cannot resolve the problem with FAQ then you should contact us. Periodically we may suspend services for a short while for maintenance and repair work. 

SDC’s website   offers an unlimited use policy by maintaining large ratios of bandwidth per client. However, where a client is found to be using server resources to such an extent that they may jeopardise server performance for other clients, then at the discretion of SDC’s website  , we reserve the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the consideration of all SDC’s website clients.

Resources are defined as bandwidth, processor utilisation and disk space. SDC’s website   may implement the following policy in its sole discretion. Abnormally high usage of resources using this service may result in a suspension of services. This policy will only be adopted in the case of extreme circumstances and intended to prevent misuse of the service. In this case clients may be offered an option whereby SDC’s website   continues supplying services under a reduced usage criteria specified by us. Failure to comply thereafter may result in the service being terminated.

All Payment Terms as per Terms and condition above. SDC’s website is one of our payment receiving platform where a credit card number on file is declined SDC’s website   will immediately suspend the facility to use its server or purchase service on-line until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. SDC reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding payment is cleared. Any non-payment of a recurring invoice may be subject to administration charge. The client is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time the client cancels the agreement in writing. A valid debit/credit card and e-mail address must be registered to your account at all times. Failure to do so may result in suspension of your account. All payment is in Malaysian Ringgit.

Whilst your e-mail is primarily used for billing purposes, SDC’s website   reserve the right to e-mail you information regarding enhancements to our services. You can unsubscribe form marketing communications from any e-mail communication or from the SDC’s website  We will not provide any of your personal information to other companies or individuals without your permission. However, we may need to provide your name and delivery address to third parties that SDC’s website  may use for purposes of delivering specific services to you. (e.g. client support)
